This policy brief uses EUROMOD-LV model to analyze the distributional effects of the 2018 Tax Reform in Latvia
New analysis of the socio-economic policies of 10 European countries, using EUROMOD, has been published as part of the annual cycle of reports by the European Commission.
The 2016 Latvian budget includes measures aimed at increasing the progressivity of the income tax system. A new policy brief reports some simulations on the impact of these measures using the Latvian component of EUROMOD.

The Latvian national team is based at The Baltic International Centre for Economic Policy Studies (BICEPS) . BICEPS is an independent research centre located in Riga, Latvia. BICEPS undertake and promote policy-oriented research in economics and other social sciences and provide advice and consulting services for both government and business in the Baltic states and elsewhere.
